Founders’ sticker

The Founders’ sticker is a limited-edition KC Heart sticker featuring the original Takes Heart concept design. The outer edge spotlights Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation (@KauffmanFDN) as the art sponsor in the 2024 Parade of Hearts alongside the artist and concept designer Laura Crossley.

The Orange Ampersand – a woman-owned sticker shop based in Kansas City – printed 2,500 Founders’ stickers for the Parade of Hearts launch event. Ashley, the owner of The Orange Ampersand, was one of the first members to join the Takes Heart business directory and, through it, connected with the Kauffman Foundation. She and her business printed a total of 15,000 heart stickers representing the 6 hearts sponsored by the Kauffman Foundation. Learn more about the heart sponsorship

The Founders’ sticker has never been sold. It was and is given freely as a symbol of support for women+ entrepreneurs and women-owned businesses. Lucky Kansas Citians have found this sticker:
